New Jersey Renewable Manufacturing Incentive | New Jersey Solar Credit


Below are the current Rebates for New Jersey Solar Power from the state of New Jersey.  You can see residential is capped at 10kw.

The program is funded from the state System Benefits Charge (SBC), it is only available to customers of New Jersey's electric distribution utilities that pay the SBC (Atlantic City Electric, Jersey Central Power & Light, Public Service Electric & Gas or Rockland Electric Company).

Incentives for each possible component are calculated separately; thus a 10 kW residential installation could receive a total incentive of $5,500 ($0.55/W) if it was constructed using eligible panels ($0.25/W), an eligible inverter ($0.15/W), and an eligible racking system ($0.15/W). In order to qualify for incentives, equipment must be made by a program certified manufacturer. This certification requires that at least 50% of product cost be associated with facilities located on New Jersey.
